Bare Escentuals Ready Eyeshadow Quad The Dream Sequence Swatches+Review
Bare Escentuals BareMinerals Eyeshadow palette 4.0 in The Dream Sequence is a beautiful purple toned mineral eyeshadow palette that costs about 30$. It is awesome for green eyes. I really really like all the shades in this palette, the lightest shade is almost matte, and it's great for inner corners and under eyebrow for that natural highlight effect. The other 3 shades work well separately or all together. I like the fact that 2 shades are matte and 2 shimmery metallics.
When I first swatched BareMinerals The Dream Sequence palette I was super excited because the shadows were well pigmented and felt silky and easy to use. As a bonus these are mineral eyeshadows, so they are a little better for your sensitive eye area than the regular eyeshadows. I can't stand to use loose mineral eyeshadows, yes they are pigmented but they make a mess everywhere. BareMinerals Ready makeup is just a brilliant idea, it's still mineral makeup, but a lot easier to use and apply.
Unfortunately the matte dark purple was a little difficult to work with, at least with an eyeshadow brush, so I ended up using my fingers to apply and blend it. The result still wasn't quite even, so this one shade was a little disappointment for me. I'm not really a big fan of matte eyeshadows anyway. But I do like the other shades a lot. I would like to get the BareMinerals 8 eyeshadow palette, The Playlist.
Have you tried Bare Escentuals Ready makeup yet?
