Dior Golden Jungle Duo Crocodile Leather Effect Nails is from Dior 2012 Fall Golden Jungle collection. It costs about 23$. I know this is quite expensive and I wasn't going to buy any expensive nail polishes for a while, but this duo was so worth it. I love unique, special effect nail polishes and this duo really leaves an awesome crocodile skin pattern.
First you apply the golden nail polish, then you wait 2 minutes and apply the crocodile effect polish. After the cracking was finished I applied a coat of Sally Hansen Insta-Dri for a shiny, longer lasting finish. I realized that I get a better result if the first nail polish is not completely dry. I heard that if you apply just a thin coat of the top coat, it will look more like snake skin and a thicker coat will give you that crocodile effect. I used quite thick coats in on my nails.
This duo is so easy to use, both nail polishes applied nicely. But it does take a while for the cracking to be completely finished so don't start this if you are in a hurry. These colors are just perfect with each other, I can't imagine the top coat looking any better on any other shade. The green top coat looks just like crocodile skin. The golden nail polish is really pretty and opaque, it looks good on its own too. Overall grade: 10/10

Tiedän että tämä on aika kallis, eikä mun pitänyt ostaa kalliita kynsilakkoja ainakaan vähän aikaan, mutta tämä duo oli todellakin sen arvoinen. Pidän uniikeista ja erikoisista kynsilakoista, tämä duo jättää kynsille todella hienon krokotiili nahka-kuvion.
Ensin levitetään kynsille kultaisa kynsilakkaa, sitten odotetaan noin 2 minuuttia ja levitetään kerros päällyslakkaa. Lopuksi levitin vielä Sally Hansen Insta-Dri päällyslakkaa, jotta sain kiiltävän ja pitkäkestoisen lopputuloksen. Aluslakka ei saisi olla ihan täysin kuivunut. Jos päällyslakkaa levittää ohuemman kerroksen, saa enemmänkin käärmenahka-kuvion. Itse käytin vähän paksumpia kerroksia.
Näitä oli todella helppo käyttää, molemmat kynsilakat levittyivät nätisti. Tämän kanssa menee kuitenkin jonkin verran aikaa, joten ei kannata aloittaa kiireessä. Sävyt on juuri täydellisiä toistensa kanssa, en voisi kuvitella päällyslakan näyttävän paremmalta minkään muun sävyn päällä. Loppuarvosana:10/10

DeleteI wish those polishes weren't so expensive! I love the effect that you get. I've used some OPI crackle polish but it isn't the same as that Dior crackle effect.

The surprising thing is that I'm wearing that same manicure for 4th day now and it still looks perfect. I did apply Sally Hansen Insta-Dri top coat, so I'm sure that makes it last longer :)
